Learn to Carve Program

For the 2025/26 season we are changing things up from the race team of the past.  We will be offering a new program – Learn 2 Carve (L2C).  This program will help skiers improve technique and is recommended for those at the intermediate level or above.  This program is also a great choice for skiers who would like to become instructors at the hill.

For those who love the race aspect, MMSC will be looking to run 2 fun race days, where the timing equipment will be set up.  These events are optional for L2C participants and will be open to all.  Race days will be advertised and are dependent on snow conditions.

• Advanced lesson program focusing on edging, balance, and body position.
• Make the transition from basic ski skills to more technical skiing.
• This program includes high performance and racing components.

Program Details:

• Cost: $150
• 5 sessions
• Day: Saturday
• Time: 2:00pm – 3:30pm
• Program Start Date: TBD

Program Requirements

• Must be a MMSC season passholder or alternatively you may purchase day passes for each training session.
• Poles and hard sided helmets are mandatory
• Participants must be consistently making parallel turns, typically 8+.
• A ‘UOVSZ Waiver’ will need to be signed to be registered in the program.
